Where treatment is focused
Treatment normally concentrates on lawn-to-woodland edges, ornamental beds, brush lines, shaded perimeter areas and other humid locations where ticks are likely to wait for a host. Products are applied according to their registered labels and the conditions found during the property assessment.
Preparing your property
Before the appointment, remove toys and food items, bring pets indoors, unlock gates and clear access to likely tick habitat where practical. People and pets should remain away during application and until treated surfaces have dried. Your technician will explain any additional precautions for the selected service.
Ongoing tick prevention
Yard treatment can reduce exposure in managed outdoor areas, but it cannot remove every tick or replace personal prevention. Keep grass maintained, reduce leaf litter and brush, use approved repellents, wear protective clothing and continue checking family members and pets after outdoor activity.
