Where treatment is applied
Applications focus on the places where adult mosquitoes rest and hide, including shrubs, lower tree canopies, shaded perimeter areas, under decks and around dense vegetation. Products are applied according to their registered labels, with the goal of treating mosquito habitat while avoiding unnecessary application to open lawn and non-target areas.
Preparing for your appointment
Before service, put away toys and food items, bring pets indoors, close windows and make sure gates and treatment areas are accessible. People and pets should remain away during application and until treated surfaces have dried. Your technician will provide any additional property-specific instructions.
What results should you expect?
Barrier treatments begin working after application and are designed to reduce mosquito activity in treated areas for weeks. Results vary with rainfall, vegetation, nearby breeding sites and property conditions. Seasonal service provides recurring protection, while one-time treatments are available for special events and specific needs.

Our recurring barrier program is normally applied about every three weeks during the active season. Weather, property conditions and the treatment selected can affect the recommended schedule.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. If the treatment areas are accessible and any pets are indoors, we can complete the service and leave treatment notes for you.
What should I do before mosquito treatment?
